ITL Pump Simulator

Supplied with the Enabler developers kit, this Windows application simulates up to 16 pumps with 4 nozzles each. This allows simulating typical forecourt scenarios without needing pumps physically connected to Enabler.

As far as Enabler is concerned the simulator is controlled like a real set of pumps, so the behaviour will be correct.

Connection

The simulator is connected using a serial "loopback" cable from Enabler to a PC serial port. If necessary, you can run more copies of the simulator (one connected to each Enabler port), assuming you have enough PC serial ports as well, to simulate more pumps.

One loopback cable is included with the Enabler developers kit, you can easily make more.

The simulator includes an automatic mode in which it will generate random sized deliveries at random times. This is very useful for load- and sequence-testing your application, and also handy for demonstration purposes.
