Enabler PCI Card

Standard PCI Card
The Enabler PCI card is a 32 bit, 33MHz, 5v only PCI card, designed for PCI v2.2 and earlier¹. This includes most PCI slots in desktop computers. Our new Enabler Express card provides PCI Express compatibility.

Multiple Protocols
Provides five ports able to operate independently with a mixture of protocols. One dedicated LON port for IFSF.

International Protocols
Enabler includes support for a wide range of forecourt equipment including pumps (dispensers), tank gauge consoles, and price signs.

Standards Compliance
Complies with the following International EMC standards:

• Complies with CE Mark and FCC requirements

Enabler PCI is RoHS compliant (lead free).

IFSF Support
Enabler PCI includes a LON port to support the International Forecourt Standards Forum protocol. Using this port, IFSF dispensers, tank gauges and price signs can be connected.

Environmental
The Enabler operates in a normal PC environment. The card itself generates little heat and does not require any active cooling.

Enabler PCI uses approximately 1 amp maximum (500ma typical) from the standard PCI Express supply pins. No extra power is required.

Software Integration
Integrated into a site system through ActiveX/COM API which can be used in a wide range of development tools including .NET and Java (using ActiveX bridge).

Small Size
The Enabler PCI card is a full-height, half-length card. The current (version 3) PCB measures 158mm L x 95mm H (6.2" x 3.75"). It will not fit in low-profile or "half-height" PCI slots.

Open PC Technology
Compatible with industry-standard PC hardware, and Windows 2000/XP/Vista and Windows 7.

Reliable
The Enabler PCI card is manufactured using SMT technology, and has proven to very reliable during operation on site.

Single Card per Site
Only one Enabler PCI card is required, for sites with a single client application (POS) or large sites with multiple clients.
