The following error message is displayed during Enabler Software Installation:
Password validation failed. The password does not meet Windows policy requirements because it is too short
This problem occurs in all versions of Windows when the password policy for the password maximum length is enabled. For the installation to succeed, disable this policy by running secpol.msc in the Run box or from a command prompt. The Local Security Policy window will then be displayed as shown below.
Click Account Policies->Password Policy and set the maximum password length to zero (see screen shot below).
Click Ok when done. There is no need to reboot the system.
