Error during install: "Cannot find the source file [filename] to install"

If the Enabler install stops with this error, then a previous failed install may have left CAB files in the Windows directory:

  • Go to the Windows directory (Normally \WINNT for Windows NT/2000; \Windows for Windows XP)
  • Look for left-over CAB files from a previous install. For example, Enabler v3 is installed from CAB files called fcman1.cab, fcman2.cab.
  • If you find any Enabler cab files in the Windows directory, delete them.

Once you've deleted the CAB files, start the installation again.
