Once every minute (60 seconds) Enabler Pump Server will check for new prices that should be applied to a grade. This includes, if needed, reloading the current prices from the database and sending them to the pumps.
You can schedule a grade price change for a future date and time using the procedure described below.
Note: As of January 2006, we are working on some issues in this area, including a new user interface for setting forward prices and a fix to allow multiple forward prices.
- Open Enabler Configuration, go to the Grade Pricing tab and locate the grade price profile for the grade you want to schedule a price change.
- Add a new grade price profile using the Add Profile button, and specify a name for the new profile.
- Set the Scheduled start time field to the date and time you want the new prices to take effect.
- Add the price levels required for the new grade price profile using the Add Level button.
- Edit the prices for each price level in your new profile to the future prices you require.
- Remember to click the Apply button after you have finished entering the new values.
Once the scheduled start time for your new price profile has passed you can edit the old price profile for a new future date, and enter new prices for the next price change.
Note that due to a pump server limitation, it is not currently possible to use multiple future prices. You can enter them in the system, but only the newest one will be applied. We are working on this issue.
