Advanced Settings for Pump Configuration

In recent versions of Enabler we have introduced an extra way to supply settings for pumps. These are called "advanced settings".

Advanced settings are entered per pump, on the Pumps tab of Enabler Configuration.

Here you can see that the advanced setting "PRICESWITCH=1" has been entered for Pump 1. This is a setting for the Tatsuno pump driver. Multiple settings can be entered, separated by spaces, although this is not usually needed.

If you can't see the "advanced settings" area, you will need to upgrade the Enabler software.

What Settings Do I Use?

Most of the settings available depend on the pump protocol used for this pump (ie. which pump driver is being used). Look at the FAQ pages for the individual pump types.

We recommend that you only use settings if the pump FAQ specifically recommends it for a situation or problem that you have. If you are at all unsure, check with us before using the setting.

Global Advanced Settings

With Pump Server 3.5.1.1 and onwards, global advanced settings were added to pumps irregardless of the protocol selected. The following are the ones supported:

Advanced Setting Description
LOG_OFFLINE=0
Default 1
Use this to disable/enable offline delivery processing for a pump.
This may be useful if the pump's electronic totals are not returning the expected values.
LOG_METER_EVENTS=0
Default 1
Use this to disable/enable hose meter events for a pump.
LOW_PRESET=0
Default 0
Use this to disable/enable low preset (value/volume) that is less than 1 for a pump. This requires Psrvr v3.11.1 and later
